Maybe a tart pan is pan is my next culinary purchase, but this looks great, so I decided to go galette just to try my hand at it with what plums were available. Black plums offered a very nice tart/sweet balance that everyone has enjoyed!

A galette is always a good option, Niklaus! Can never go wrong with one. Tart pans are a great investment, they’re typically inexpensive and the removable bottomed versions are lifesavers at times.

I’m way more a cook than a baker… the precision is what turns me off, so anytime I can get a solid recipe that’s nearly fool-proof, I go all-in. 😊

I thought I was reading a message from my husband, Erin haha! He’s in the same boat as you, and I get it completely. I have some intricate baking recipes but always try to include as many simple and foolproof ones as I can :)
