Recently, on vacation at Whistler, BC, my hubby and I had a most beautiful dinner. I chose my starter to be a small slice of onion tart with a mix of fresh greens.

All the while enjoying, I thought “I must make this!”

So sorry for the late reply, Lynne... Substack and my phone haven't been playing nice lately. That said, I am so, so glad that "fate" brought this recipe to you. Nothing quite like discovering something while on vacation and being able to replicate it in your own kitchen. While everyone may have their own twist on the dish, I think you'll likely find this very similar to the one you had. Enjoy!
