Hello Audrey,
I can just imagine Pont Aven in summer. Maybe Kerdruc?!
We enjoyed the Quimper market, but didn't linger as long as we would have liked because it began raining quite hard soon after we arrived. There seemed to be a good balance between food and other items. We also went to markets in Aix-en-Provence and Arles. These were weekday markets and didn't have much food. The Saturday market in Nice was great!
Two years ago we stayed in Locquirec on the north coast of Brittany for one week. Another favorite place! The Tuesday market there was small but very nice. We also went to a large market in Lannion that we enjoyed. I don't remember much food there, but again it was a week day.
I love where I live, but I could move to Brittany in a second. It's in my blood, you know!
Thanks for sharing it. I'm off to subscribe!
Celeste
A favorite. Merci! I was thinking of you last month while staying in Pont Aven. I could be very happy living there! We drove past Lorient several times, coming from Bordeaux, to and from Carnac, and on the way to Paris. I was hoping to run into you at the market in Quimper! My ancestors were from Nantes and I adore that part of France.
