Hello friends,

I hope you're all enjoying a lovely week, although I suspect many of you in the U.S. are diving headfirst into the flurry of Thanksgiving preparations! Bonne chance with the turkey and the trimmings!

While Thanksgiving isn’t something we celebrate here in France, I can’t help but feel the warmth of the holiday spirit spreading across the Atlantic.

Here in Brittany, the signs of the season are starting to appear. Shop windows are dressing up in their festive best, twinkling lights are being strung along the streets and winter seems to be knocking on the door. France even welcomed its first snowfall of the season yesterday! While we didn’t get any snow here on the Brittany coast, I’ve heard that nearby Rennes received a beautiful white dusting, and Paris, as always, looks magical under its wintery veil.
